Manufacturing & quality assurance

Yanshan Hengzhenyuan Pipeline — integrated forming, heat treatment, machining and NDT for export utility and EPC programs.

Production capability

  • Seamless or welded fittings per ASME B16.9; WPB material traceable to heat/lot
  • Induction bending and 300–3,000 t hydraulic forming for large NPS
  • Normalizing or stress-relief heat treatment per material grade and project spec
  • End beveling and facing per ASME B16.25 / project weld prep

Inspection & release

  • PMI / OES spectroscopy for positive material identification
  • Mechanical testing on representative coupons (tensile, impact when required)
  • UT or RT on welds per project ITP; MT/PT on critical surfaces
  • Third-party inspection (SGS, BV, TÜV) and EN 10204 3.1 mill certificates on request

Engineering FAQ

WPB is the standard carbon grade for general piping. For design temperatures below about −29 °C (−20 °F), project specs often require WPC or WPL6 with verified impact tests. Always follow the piping material specification on the isometric.
Yes. Long-radius (LR) 90° elbows use A = 1.5 × NPS in inches (converted to mm in this table). Tolerances follow ASME B16.9 unless the purchase order references MSS SP-43 or a stricter project addendum.
Yes. Typical export supply includes ASME B16.25 bevel (37.5° ± 2.5°) on carbon steel; compound bevels and J-prep can be quoted from isometrics.
Weights listed are approximate single-piece masses for carbon steel LR elbows at SCH 40 wall, useful for freight and supporting estimates. Certified weights may be shown on packing lists after final dimensional inspection.
