Manufacturing & quality assurance
Yanshan Hengzhenyuan Pipeline — integrated forming, heat treatment, machining and NDT for export utility and EPC programs.
Production capability
- Forged ASTM A105 / A105N bodies; normalized when specified on the PO
- CNC machining of facing, bolt circle, and bore to ASME B16.5
- Raised face (RF) 1/16" (1.6 mm) standard; RTJ or FF quoted per datasheet
- Long weld neck (LWN) and reducing WN flanges from approved drawings
Inspection & release
- Dimensional check of OD, PCD, bore, and hub length against B16.5 tables
- PMI and heat-number traceability; hardness survey when required
- Visual and MT on forged surfaces; UT per ASME Section V when ITP requires
- Third-party witness (SGS, BV) and hydro test documentation for package orders
Engineering FAQ
Both grades meet ASME B16.5 for general carbon flanges. A105N is normalized after forging to improve toughness; many export projects specify A105N for pressure equipment. Material choice must match the piping line class.
Standard supply is typically bored for SCH 40 / STD wall unless the requisition states SCH 80, XS, or a specific inside diameter. Always list NPS and schedule on the inquiry.
No. Pressure–temperature ratings are fixed by class and material group in ASME B16.5. Class 300 or 600 (and appropriate material) must be used when the design pressure exceeds the Class 150 envelope.
Yes. Mill test certificates with heat analysis and mechanical results are issued per batch. ITP-driven PMI retests and third-party release notes can be added for EPC contracts.
